Edinburgh has a good network of cycling routes and off-road paths. The cycling network in Edinburgh is made up of a mixture of the National Cycle Network (managed by Sustrans) and local Quiet Routes (managed by the City Council). These are all numbered and signposted using blue street signs throughout the city. Spokes maps Spokes - The Lothian Cycle Campaign, provide some of the most detailed and up to date maps of the whole of the Lothians.
